Study trips: Meet people, experience & understand other cultures

Through select tour operators, we offer our members the opportunity to participate in up to two study tours and one cultural tour each year. These trips are exclusively open to our members and their relatives and friends. The goal of these trips is to get to know the country, its people, culture, and way of life as deeply as possible. In addition to well-known tourist attractions, the tours also explore lesser-known areas.

We strive to organize a reception at the respective German diplomatic missions abroad for each trip. In recent years, destinations have included Cyprus, Burgundy, Namibia, and Sicily. The trips are organized and led by our Executive Committee member Falk Schweitzer.
