International Round Table

The International Round Table was founded in 2001 as a specialized forum for foreign policy. Heads of missions still based in Bonn, leading figures from international and national organizations based in Bonn and Berlin, and distinguished visitors from abroad discuss current foreign policy issues. Former members of the German Foreign Service who are members of the club also contribute their expertise. The International Round Table is chaired by our Executive Board member Dr. Philipp Deichmann. About the format:

• Scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Keynote presentation followed by a discussion and lunch at the Redoute
• We invite distinguished guests from the Foreign Service, consulates, embassies, and academic institutions.
• Members with a particular interest in foreign policy receive this invitation after registering via a special mailing list.
• The small group of up to 40 participants allows for personal interaction and an in-depth exchange of views.
