Lunch events

Our monthly lunchtime events are designed for members with a particular interest in economic and international issues and provide an opportunity for in-depth professional discussion. The keynote presentations by speakers on current topics in national and international politics, business, and academia are distinguished by their high caliber and diversity; the smaller number of participants allows for in-depth professional dialogue. The events take place in the elegant setting of the Green Salon or Garden Hall at the Redoute, beginning with a reception, followed by a luncheon, and concluding with a cup of coffee. At the International Round Table, we regularly welcome foreign policy specialists, such as Ambassador Anne-Marie Descôtes, Ambassador Michael Clauß, former Ambassador Reinhard Schäfers, U.S. Congressmen Barbara Comstock and Raymond Green, and the Chairman of the Bundeswehr Association, André Wüstner.

The Business Circle offers opportunities for exchange with figures from business, academia, politics, and the media, such as Melanie Kreis, CFO of Deutsche Post/DHL; Ulrich Voigt, CEO of Sparkasse KölnBonn; and Dr. Helge Matthiesen, editor-in-chief of the Bonner General-Anzeiger. Once or twice a year, we visit companies in the Bonn-Rhein/Sieg region, such as the T-Systems Security Operation Center or Confiserie Coppeneur et Compagnon GmbH.
